I tested printing a sphere-like object to learn about layer fans. Without a functioning layer fan, even low speeds like 3 mm/s might cause sagging on the bottom of the sphere. The print speed used during this session was 60 mm/s. Here is the Pronterface log: The print measures from -18.21 mm to 17.80 mm in X and spans 36.01 mm wide, from -17.76 mm to 17.76 mm in Y and spans 35.52 mm deep, and from 0.00 mm to 48.41 mm in Z and stands at 48.41 mm tall. Estimated print time is approximately 194 layers, which would take around 36 minutes and 9 seconds. Adjusting the print speed factor starts: The factor was set to 5%, then changed to 15%, adjusted again to 20%, re-set to 25%, modified further to 30%, reset back to 25%, adjusted up to 20%, set lower at 15%, increased to 30%, adjusted down to 25%, changed higher to 20%, re-set to 15%, changed to 20%, then finally decreased down to 10%. A slight pause occurred after this change, with the print factor increasing once more to 15% and again upped to 20%. The print session came to a close at 00:35:56, having taken around two hours and sixteen minutes.
