Double Slip Bobber (Solid3D Fishing)

I designed this slip bobber for our Solid3D Fishing group on Facebook. You can easily find us online. This double bobber rig uses two Comal Tackle cigar style bobbers, widely available at retail stores. I scored these three bobbers for just $1.20, an incredibly affordable price! When taken straight from the store, each bobber comes with a plug on both ends that lets the line wrap around it. Unfortunately, this causes the foam to become too weak to stay securely in place when adjusting the bobber's depth several times. To fix this issue, I created a custom double bobber frame with a hole running through its center. This design makes it much simpler to adjust the bobbers using a traditional slip bobber knot. Additionally, since there are two bobbers within the frame, we can use more weight on the hook side of our rig.
