Double slider mechanism

The two rotating rods linked to the frame within the crank-rocker mechanism transform into a motion pair. As they do, the rods slide along the groove of the frame, guided by two perpendicular grooves that intersect at right angles. The rods are connected by two more rotating pairs to a connecting rod, effectively converting the mechanism into a double slider mechanism - also known as an elliptical mechanism.
