Double-sided Luggage Label!

Double-sided Luggage Label!

thingiverse

This is a customizable version of a double-sided luggage label that I've put together in no time from a remix. However, it needs some work on its defaults for backside text and might benefit from a bit more thickness when engraving the top and bottom to prevent text overlap. The backside will be engraved only since it's intended for printing at the bottom. If you switch filaments mid-print, you can see two colors on the back to enhance contrast. I recommend using embossing on the front to give the back plenty of room in the model for better readability. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: For this demo print, I used ColourPrint on my Prusa i3 to switch colors. Also, I encountered some slicing issues, so the backside is a bit hard to read. Fellow nerds will notice that the Crystalline Entity is from Melonia IV, but the V didn't print for some reason. To compensate, I would increase the font size and experiment with slicer settings. It's crucial that you review each layer before printing, as this model requires attention to detail.
