This is a custom fan assembly specifically engineered for Flyingbear 3D printers. It enhances printing quality and provides precise control over airflow, ensuring that printed objects warp less during the process. To install this fan unit, simply swap it with the original one without any modifications to your printer. The new fan can be securely fastened in place, guaranteeing optimal performance from day one. This fan assembly is ideal for 3D printing projects using ABS plastic, but PLA material can also produce excellent results. When working with ABS, however, keep in mind that warping may still occur due to its inherent properties. Print Settings: Printer: Flyingbear Rafts: Not required; the printer will automatically generate them as needed. Supports: Enable this feature only for objects that require it. For the fan unit itself, printing without supports is recommended. Notes: When using this fan assembly, please ensure that no supports are generated inside the fanduct. Instead, enable supports to be printed from the build plate only.
