This adapter is designed specifically for connecting smaller standard wire shelving units, typically found at major retailers, to a customized wooden top of your choice. It's engineered to be slightly more robust than the single-screw variant available elsewhere. You have three design options: an unthreaded version with 4.2mm holes compatible with M5 threads, as well as models featuring 8-32 and M5 threads for use with SLA printers. The adapter utilizes #6 or #8 wood screws for mounting the top and a grub or machine screw for securing it to the post. The pictured example is an unthreaded version with 4.2mm holes paired with an M5 grub screw, which has been threaded while the material was still warm. This particular model was printed at 15% infill using Monoprice PLA.
