Double-quad spoolholder for CTC/flashforge/replicator WOOD shell models
thingiverse
Human: I've taken my original heavy-duty spool holder design and revamped it with a solid new version that can handle more spools. You'll need many bolts and a metal or wood bar to make it work, as I designed it for a 1.6cm diameter bar, but if you need something different, just ask and I'll create a custom block for your bar. A block is what I've made - multiple screw blocks for the bar that prevent rotation. Disclaimer: this is a large object, so to make it, you'll likely need about 180-250 grams of filament, which is more than what most printers can handle in one go. I printed mine at 0.2mm height but suggest going up to 0.3mm for better strength. Use 15% infill for the best results. You'll also need a drill or file to create holes for the bolts - I made them 5.30mm wide, which allows you to wedge them in place or screw them in if you prefer. This design is intended for my CTC printer but should work with any replicator dual with a wood shell, as long as the dimensions match. Here are the other parts you'll need: * Bolts: + 4pcs M5 x 25mm (for the back part of each side) + 2pcs M5 x 30mm (for the middle part) + 2pcs M5 x 40mm (for the front bar) + 1pc M3 x 20mm (to connect the printer to one of the pre-drilled holes for standard PTFE tubes) * Bar: a metal or wood rod about 40-50 centimeters long * Blocks: you'll need to print two sets, as the left and right parts are different, except for the second spool base part, which is the same on both sides.
