Double-pendulum Finger Spinner

Double-pendulum Finger Spinner

thingiverse

To create chaotic movements, simply move your finger a few centimeters back and forth on this spin toy. Print settings include a LulzBot TAZ 5 printer, rafts enabled, no supports needed, 0.31mm resolution, and 20% infill. Higher layer heights reduce knock between layers for tall structures and avoid issues with GCode generators. Place the stethoscope-like end on a ring, then use your finger to move the other ring around on a flat surface. This spinning toy was inspired by observing someone struggle with twisting a top; instead, they moved their finger back and forth. The v2 model addresses issues of pivot width coming free too easily and a small finger placement radius.
