This carriage is a remake from a parts file provided by my first Delta 3D printer, which was made in China. Unfortunately, I don't know who to give proper credit to for the original design, so I apologize for that. To recreate the carriage, I used SketchUp to redraw it based on its original dimensions. This version has five wheels instead of the usual three, giving it more stability during printing. The extra mounts are designed to accommodate an airstruder, which is still in development. The carriage features a large opening that can fit a 3mm nut, making the endstop adjuster more reliable than using tapped threads. The tensioner for the wheels consists of a trough and hole with space for another 3mm nut on one side, ensuring better stability and easier nut placement. Printer Settings: * Brand: Deltaprintr * Printer Model: Deltaprintr Kit * Resolution: 0.2 mm * Infill: The stiffer the better * Notes: I printed this carriage with PLA filament, but ABS might be a better choice. Post-Printing: I used rollers from our local superstore to create the wheels (22mm in diameter), which are not V-shaped. These rollers are normally used for gliding doors. The size of the wheels can affect how the carriage and its rods align, so I had to create an offset to get them properly aligned with my printer's 2020 bar. To achieve proper alignment, I used two M3 nuts. My printer has a large build volume (110cm high x 35cm round printbed), which causes issues with flexible filament printing due to retraction settings and belt tension problems. The airstruder is designed to address these issues. The larger side plate on the carriage helps reduce belt slipping during fast movements, but it may affect the durability of the belt over time. After several prints, I haven't noticed any wear or tear.
