Double Helix Dice Tower
thingiverse
Drop your handful of dice into the funnel and watch them tumble down the opposing spiral staircases. The dice dock can accomodate about 26 standard cube dice. There is space mostly safe from the exit to move dice that are not being re-rolled.The photo shows the tray supported by four of my claw-foot legs (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6472717) so it can be placed over the player's tray (in games like Zombicide and Massive Darkness) without moving stuff. Both files printed at 95% pretty much maxed out the print envelope of my Sonic Mighty 4K. If you scale one, make sure to scale the other to match so the four legs fit in the four mating holes in the tray.A slow motion video of a handful of dice being dropped into the tower is available here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/fNBxrXiP_mwOne tower .stl file has everything hollow with drain holes for resin printing (this is the one I built, but don't just trust me... verify). The other tower .stl is solid (for FDM or other... or so you can do the hollowing and drain holes yourself).
