Double HCSR04 Sensor holder
thingiverse
This is a compact and versatile holder for HCSR04 ultrasonic sensors that's effortless to assemble and disassemble. The sensor stays stable within this holder without needing any glue or screws. The design ensures a perfect and secure fit. It consists of two parts: the bottom section where you can easily insert the sensor, and the top part that firmly holds it in place. I successfully used this holder in one of my robots to map a room by combining these affordable sensors with some clever math. You'll notice a hole at the bottom, designed for attaching it to a servo motor to control the sensor's rotation. The necessary parts can be found in the "HCSR04_Ultrasonic_sensor_holder.stl" file. I'm currently working on a new, simplified design for a single fixed sensor and plan to upload it as soon as possible. If you see a label reading "REAM" on top, don't worry – it's just a name from my team of makers, not an actual part included in the model I've shared.
