Recently, I posted a design of Double Geneva Reciprocating I Mechanism featuring one cross and two actuators. Here's an alternative version, this time with two crosses and one actuator. The new setup appears to be more stable than its predecessor. The model was built using Solidworks 2016, rendered in Simlab Composer 8 Mechanical Edition, and edited frame by frame in Virtualdub before being saved as AVI/X264 and BMP files. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into an MP4 format, while PhotoScape was employed for creating GIFs from the rendered images. IrfanView helped with editing the renders. The 3D model is available in various formats including 3D-PDF, FBX, Blender, ZIM, and Simlab Composer 8 files, all of which are animated. The ZIM file can be viewed on both iOS and Android devices using the free Simlab CAD Viewer app. Additionally, the model is available in Simlab Composer 8, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF, and Blender formats.
