Double Faced Stone
myminifactory
This enigmatic statue is an abstract masterpiece residing in the Muzeon Park of Arts, established in 1992. Initially conceived as a cultural oasis, its creation was largely inspired by the Tretyakov Gallery and Central House of Artist, two esteemed institutions that border the neighborhood. The park's rich history also honors significant architectural and cultural landmarks from the XVII to XX centuries. Throughout the nineties and early 2000s, Muzeon Park became a beloved destination for Muscovites due to its prime location and meticulously maintained grounds. Today, its collection boasts over 700 sculptures, many of which are iconic symbols of Soviet heritage, including the striking monument dedicated to Maxim Gorky by Mukhina and Shadr's collaborative work, as well as Vychetch's powerful "Stand to the Death" sculpture.
