This is a versatile safety razor that works seamlessly with standard blades. If you've ever been curious about trying shaving with a DE razor without committing to an expensive purchase, this affordable option is definitely worth considering for under $0.50 of plastic! I purchased a basic ($20) DE razor on Amazon several years ago, and the top piece of the head unfortunately broke after taking too many drops. Fortunately, it was easily repairable with a single screw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpteMAfR49Y), but it also sparked an idea to create a 3D printable version. The top piece has two alternatives - one entirely made of plastic with a threaded component that attaches to the handle, and another option featuring a countersunk hole for fastening together with a 10-32 screw. The threads on the all-plastic version may require some trial and error depending on your print settings.
