This duct facilitates efficient airflow for a 50mm fan and J-Head MK-V hotend on Mendel Prusa Version 2 printers. Two versions are available, one with and one without a mounting plate, along with SketchUp files. The piece fits over an X carriage with three LMM8U linear bearings. For added safety, use kapton tape to avoid collision with bulldog paper clips on the glass bed. An update includes three new STL files: Element_A.stl, Element_B.stl, and Element_C.stl, which can be combined for a complete shape or printed separately. Assembly instructions include mounting the fan with four metric 4mm bolts and nuts, attaching to the x-carriage, securing the hot end, mounting the extruder with two 4mm bolts, and ensuring wires clear the timing belt.
