To childproof double doors, fit them with a latch that automatically moves aside when closed. The doors need a central pillar, 3/4" thick, flush with their faces. Edit the FreeCAD file for custom sizing. Print at 40% infill across 4 shells. Attach the latch to the center pillar using a 1" #6 screw, ensuring it moves freely. Position it near door handles for one-handed operation and easy latch movement with a single finger.
