UPDATE: I'm upgrading to V3 with strengthened arms for 2204 motors at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1277212. Double Decker V2 200 is a top-of-the-line mini 180/200 class FPV racing quad that excels in flight performance on 4" propellers. Key features include: two decks for perfect weight distribution square shaped motor positions for unmatched balance and control motors and VTx shields for added protection 25-degree mount for the FPV camera strong, reinforced frame parts ultra-lightweight (75g) standard size components throughout The unique design of the Double Decker V2 200 features two decks - a tall front section to accommodate a 32x32mm FPV camera like the Sony PZ0420, and a flat rear section that places the battery close to the center of gravity for improved flight performance. I've flown this quad at the kart racing spot and achieved my best times yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN-JIWSBnYY. The square shape of the motor footprint provides excellent balance and handling in all axes, while integrated bumpers protect VTx and motors from impact. Lightweight sidewalls keep cables safe, and printing with ABS and 100% infill creates a rigid frame that can withstand many crashes. The FPV camera plate is set at a fixed angle of 25 degrees for speed flying, but you can fine-tune the angle by adding spacers between the camera and plate. Total frame weight is approximately 75 grams (ABS, 100% infill, M2.5 self-tapping screws), with an AUW of around 340 grams when paired with FPV gear and a 3s lipo 1000 mAh battery. This setup features an incredible power-to-weight ratio of about 6:1 using 4S and DAL 4045 BN propellers. My goal is to create the ultimate printable 4" FPV racing quad. Print Settings Rafts: Supports: Infill: 100% Notes: Print in ABS with 100% infill. Post-Printing Spacers: print attached spacers and use 12-16mm M2.5 self-tapping screws for a secure fit. The bottom plate features two holes (usb connector, bottom of motor pins) so that CC3D atom flight controller can be placed as low as possible. Simply attach the FC with hot glue, ensuring motor pins face forward. There's also a large hole on the right side of the quad for easy USB connection.
