Double Cross Antenna Hub and Elbows
thingiverse
These are parts for a high-speed DoubleCross Antenna that operates at 137MHz. The main hub and conduit elbows will greatly enhance portability of the antenna. Originally designed by NOAA and later updated in a hobby-style format at http://imgur.com/a/TiZ41, we've upgraded this project to replace the epoxy and plumbing part hub with a 3D printed version that offers greater stability and durability. Additional instructions will be added soon. Print Settings: Printer: FolgerTech 2020 Prusa i3 AL Rafts: No rafts were required. Supports: Supports are optional, depending on how much filing you're willing to do. The outcome is essentially the same whether supports are used or not. Resolution: Both .25 and .4 mm resolutions worked well. Infill: An infill of 50% was sufficient.
