Initially, over an area of about 7 cm, they are octagonal, then change into hexagons, and finally become round barrels. The bases of the barrels feature engraved geometric-floral ornamentation and the manufacturer's mark: "SCHLEGELMILCH IN OEDENBURG". The external components of the caplock mechanism showcase an engraved floral pattern. Brass trigger guards surround the triggers, reaching up to the tip of the stock. Oak leaves and initials "C. Ł." are engraved on the trigger guard.
