Double Barrel Pen (Pilot G2 Based)

I coach competitive speech and debate. We use a specialized form of note-taking to keep track of arguments in the debate. The key is to have one color for each side of the debate. This means you almost always hold two pens at once. To simplify the process I introduce the Double Barrel Pen. Designed to use the most popular debate pen ink (Pilot g2s). This design is remixed from Jack Matthews' Bolt Action Pen - Pilot G2 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4777014)You will need:1 x printed Pen Body (I used PETG at .20 layer height with 15% infill)2 x printed plungers (I used PETG at .10 layer height with 100% infill)2 x pilot G2 pen springs (upcycle from a spent pilot G2)2 x pilot G2 refill (I like .07 but many debaters opt for thinner cartridges. Any Pilot G2 refill will fit)2 x M3x8mm socket cap screws Post-Printing Assembly Instructions (Adapted from Jack Matthews' single barrel directions):Step 1: Acquire two old Pilot G2 Pens (I kill 2-3 of these during a given tournament weekend)Step 2: Disassemble said Pilot G2 pens and keep the springs and refill (if still good). Otherwise G2 refills are pretty cheap and come in cool colors.Step 3: Stick the springs down the printed pen bodies (one spring per tube).Step 4: Stick the G2 refill down the printed pen bodies (one refill per tube).Step 5: Take the M3 x 8mm socket cap screw and thread the hole of the plunger with it. I pre-threaded the plungers, but it works better to reinforce the tap by pre-screwing it before assembly.Step 6: Stick the printed plungers down each side of the printed pen body. With the printed plunger in the body, screw the socket cap screw into the printed plunger piece, through the bolt action slot, until it is tightened down, but can still move through the slot freely. Repeat for the other side.Step 7: Flow some debates (or whatever else you want to use a two color pen for).
