Double Air Duct - Tobera de Aire Doble
thingiverse
Double Cooling Duct for Prusa I3, of my creation. Prototype that attempts to cool the extruder and piece (significantly improves bridges). There are 3 pieces that lock together with the central piece that fits into the Hotend support type E3D (which I have published earlier). My printer has an Argento Hotend, so, I leave this description only in Spanish. It prints WITHOUT SUPPORTS, the angles as they are placed the STL on the bed allow it. Mounts 2 fans of 50mm screwed with 3mm screws and nuts. The measurement is with tolerances of 0.2mm and insert the nuts with a little pressure. If you need English translation, just ask! ------ Now, in English ------- Double Cooling Duct for Prusa I3, E3D like Hotend. These are three pieces that match my previous published E3D Holder and allows you to use 2 50mm cooling fans. The air is divided sending part of it to the nozzle in order to cool the melted plastic. Increase the quality of bridges and the finishing of little detail parts printed. Try it and let me know how did it work. I'm using it and I'm very pleased with the result. Note: Used two pieces of masking tape to secure the back part of the ducts, to the hotend carriage and holding in place.
