This design is versatile and can be utilized independently for any 3D printer. It's lightweight and can be easily attached to the E3D heatsink without extra mounts. In fact, I recommend using a rubber band or wire to limit its horizontal motion if no additional mounts are used, as it can potentially slide down vertically in extreme scenarios. The semicircular duct inserted into the "chimney" is adjustable up and down with ease. The design's internal structure is similar to another popular design on Thingiverse. However, my version has a few key differences: increased internal volume, an altered angle of air flow, and a unique conical shape within the air nozzle that culminates in a cylindrical ending. I found that a full circular duct only functions effectively with half of its nozzles working due to inadequate airflow pressure. The fan "chimney" is designed to accommodate two 40mm silent fans, creating separate air flows for parts cooling and extruder heatsink cooling. This part is independent of the heatsink and can serve as a base for other designs. For the heatsink, I utilized a "wrap" that should be attached to the "chimney". I secured both fans and the "wrap" using 3.5mm screws (standard wood screws). Additionally, I included a simple block for an extra upper point mount on the Titan plate (check out my other design). The primary goal of this design was to be compatible with the Titan plate and E3D extruder, but I aimed to make it as universal as possible. The semicircular duct must be printed without supports, while all other parts require support for air tunnels. To achieve optimal results, keep infill at a minimum – I used 20%. For fans, I recommend using SUNON or MAGLEV 40mm models, which are quiet enough.
