In the Fields of Endless Carnage, far south of Quoidge, Pudge the Butcher works tirelessly through the night - expertly dismembering and disembowelling the bodies that litter the battlefield, carefully piling up limbs and viscera to clear the area by dawn's early light. In this cursed realm, nothing can decay or decompose; no corpse remains buried for long, no matter how deep it's dug into the earth. Surrounding him are carrion birds who eagerly await his skilled ministrations, obliging him to chop their meals into bite-sized morsels that fit neatly onto their beaks. With each stroke of his blades, Pudge hones his skills, sharpening them with use; swish, swish, thunk - flesh falls from the bone as tendons and ligaments part like wet paper. Over the ages, Pudge has cultivated a taste for more than just butchery; he now savors its byproducts as well. Starting with a chunk of muscle here, a sip of blood there...before long, he's thrusting his jaws deep into the toughest torsos, like a dog gnawing at tattered rags. Even those who've lost all fear of the Reaper still tremble before the Butcher.
