The name given to this illustration mentions a section of the National Anthem, using it as irony, since Brazil has not been kind to peoples and its forests. According to the Socioambiental Institute, in one month the equivalent of 5,238 football fields (5,238 hectares) of natural vegetation were destroyed in the Amazon forest, resulting from the exploitation of timbers, gold miners, and converting the area into grain cultivation land. This scenario ends up directly affecting the life of indigenous tribes, reaching their homes, contaminating rivers, and putting the health of the indigenous population at risk.
