Dorm desk headphone clip
thingiverse
This clip is designed to securely grip the top of your desk by tapering downward at a slight angle, preventing it from slipping out of place. I've uploaded both the .stl file and the .prt file so that you can easily edit the length of the headphone holder yourself. (I use NS 9.0, but these files will also open in SolidWorks, etc.) Currently, I'm using this clip to hold a cheap pair of headphones with a width of 20 mm (.788 in), but it can also accommodate my roommate's wider headphones, which measure 57 mm (2.25 in). Printer Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro X Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 20% Notes: This print is straightforward. You can use your best judgment when it comes to infill percentage. Twenty percent should be sufficient without compromising the clip's strength. For this particular print, I used Orange ABS, but PLA would also work well.
