I made this doorknob over two weeks in class. Unfortunately, some inner components are missing due to time constraints. Standards CCSS Overview and Background This brass and silver door knob was created by Weiser. Lesson Plan and Activity The task involved taking an everyday object apart, or reverse engineering it. Next, I measured the parts, sketched them out in my engineering notebook, and then took those drawings to create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017.
