Doorknob Lock Retaining Clip This clip was crafted to fit snugly over a standard 50mm diameter doorknob and secure the centre locking button in the firmly-pressed/locked position. Door handles like these are secured on the inside by pushing in a central button that automatically pops out when the door is opened from the inside, preventing accidental lockouts. Ordinarily, you can enforce the lock button to stay locked by rotating it once pressed. However, I discovered through trial and error that this method is unreliable, which led me to create this clip to keep it securely locked in place at all times.
