Door / Window Hinge
thingiverse
This is a preliminary design for a hinge compatible with raisers from Ikea's Lack series and window holder. The concept is heavily influenced by the enclosure parts of the Lack Table, but it has been completely reimagined from scratch. This is my first attempt at 3D modeling using Tinkercad after a 15-year hiatus, so I anticipate significant improvements in subsequent versions. The inner mechanism of the hinge is slightly loose because its diameter is 1mm smaller than the outer part; I couldn't figure out how to model shapes with decimal measurements on Tinkercad. Instead of remixing an existing design, I deliberately avoided that approach to ensure the window could be easily removed. This hinge will accommodate M4 screws. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: During one of my test prints, the parts collapsed, so I decided to print with rafts from then on.
