Door Wedge Lock: Unfinished Project. This mock-up showcases my concept for a door wedge lock. I'm hopeful that you reading this can help bring it to completion, as I had only ten minutes before dinner to conceptualize and draft the design. The idea is simple: slide the unopened device under a closed door, then open the wedge and lock it into place, thereby securing the door with the wedge's locking mechanism. The result is a "Lockable Door Wedge" solution perfect for those times when one needs to secure a door quickly, but lacks the time or means to install a traditional lock. If anyone is available before dinner, I'd greatly appreciate it if they could flesh out this idea for us. I'll check back later to see how the project has progressed.
