Door Viewer Hook
thingiverse
A Hook for Hanging Seasonal Items on Front Doors Without Damaging Them This hook allows users to hang things like Christmas wreaths, Halloween decorations or other seasonal items on their front door without causing any damage. It is mounted in the same hole as a door viewer (peephole) and does not require screws, nails, staples or anything else that would leave lasting holes or marks. The hook is perfect for people living in apartments, flats or condominiums where landlords or condo boards do not allow making holes in the door, or for those occasions when you just want to hang something temporarily. To install it, unscrew the viewer from inside, pull out the outer part of the door, slip it through the hook and then fit it back into place by screwing the inner part back on. The hook comes in different sizes to suit viewers with various diameters. Choose a hole size that matches your viewer's barrel diameter - this is the same as the existing hole in your door. Many common viewers use a 14mm hole but they can vary, so measure yours before printing. The hook adds only 2mm to the effective thickness of the door and most viewer barrels can easily handle this extra thickness. The hook looks great printed in plain white or black, or in a color that matches your door. Wood-filled PLA also works well with wooden doors. Printing Requirements Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 25 to 40% Notes: Use standard layer height around 0.2mm and infill between 25% to 40% for strength.
