Door Stopper

Door Stopper

I'm excited to share this revised door stopper design with you! It's a game-changer, and I'm confident it will work like a charm from day one. With a sleek new design and just one screw for both the door and floor, this baby is ready to roll. However, after some 20-30 uses, disaster struck - the grip broke off in my hand! Clearly, the female part needs a serious redesign. I took matters into my own hands and applied some glue, which worked like a charm... at first. But when my little one came along with her energetic enthusiasm for smashing doors, I realized that wasn't enough. The back of the female part snapped off in two, leaving me with a mess. No worries though - I revised the design (check out Female_r2.stl) and it's looking much better now! It still needs some extra support to keep it from collapsing under pressure, but for now, I've temporarily fixed it by squeezing on a broken part from the old design. And voila! The grip is improved, and it looks like this baby will make it through even the toughest door-stopping tasks. Check out the photo of the female part emerging from my 3D printer - it's looking sharp and ready to go!
