My little dog consistently managed to sneak into the closet where we store our cat litter boxes. She'd discover what she thought were tasty treats - a disgusting find! So, I needed a device that would help keep the door from opening more than our dog's chest is wide, yet still accommodate the cats' size. The solution attaches directly over the usual door latch location, and you can even use the same screws to install it right on top of the standard latch.
