We recently adopted a used fridge when buying our new house, but COVID restrictions forced us to stockpile more food than usual. As a result, we fired up the old appliance and discovered a broken freezer rail that needed repairs. To fix it, I tracked down an intact endcap assembly online and recreated the entire component from scratch. The process was more manageable once I simplified the 3D print design. The rebuilt part is number 22 in the exploded view of the fridge's freezer components, which can be seen in the accompanying photos.
