Door Opening Tool
thingiverse
I wanted a tool to open door handles and push buttons without touching them. This early prototype fits on my small printer at a 45-degree angle. I made it using coat hanger wire in a loop shape, mounted on a retractable keychain that hangs from my belt. I'm sharing it because maybe someone else can find it useful. I highly recommend painting and sealing it to prevent germs from getting stuck in the layer edges. It reminds me of carrying a lightsaber on my belt, so I might make another version later with that design. Edit: Don't compromise on infill density or pattern! The first print was rotated 45 degrees, resulting in weak infill structure. Try printing at higher density and more outer shells to avoid issues like filament degradation.
