As COVID-19 continues to spread worldwide, I've decided to leverage my skills and design a gadget that minimizes contact with potentially contaminated surfaces, catering specifically to those who cannot work remotely like me. I'm introducing a door opener that eliminates the need for touching door handles, keys permanently inserted in locks (commonly found in offices), or toilet door locks. This innovative device can be easily attached to your existing keys. While not entirely my original idea, I couldn't find an ergonomic model with this specific functionality. My standard design is optimized for basic PLA filaments (tested using Prusament PLA and Spectrum WOOD Natural) with 50% infill or ABS filaments (tested on Compositum ABS ST) with 30% infill. In contrast, my light design is tailored for ABS filaments with at least 50% infill or reinforced ABS filaments like ABS-M30 with a minimum of 20% infill.
