My first DIY project was a success, with my first Door Open Holder performing perfectly - but only until I opened the door with a bit of momentum, then it would spring back shut on me. Fortunately, my next attempt worked much better, with significantly reduced rebounding. As always, all my design files are available to share under an open-source license in case others want to make any improvements.
