Compact Lock Mechanism With Integral Handle Attachment: Design Requirements To assemble this compact lock mechanism with an integral handle attachment, a M4 bolt approximately 3cm in length is required. A lock washer should be installed between the handle and the lock for added stability. As an alternative, some glue can be used or simply tighten the components until they hold securely. A 6mm hole must be drilled into the plexiglass for the handle/lock assembly portion. Depending on the printer settings, it may be necessary to widen this hole slightly; a 6.5mm hole is acceptable in such cases. To ensure a tight fit between the lock parts 1 and 2, adjustments need to be made so that they fit together securely. When printing this design, an infill of approximately 20% is recommended.
