Door Lion Wall Hanger

I stumbled upon a digital scan of a door lion sculpture, which I converted into a wall-hangable model that can be secured with either a nail or screw. The printed images showcased in the pictures were produced using ABS and coated with genuine bronze. To create this 3D printable design, I leveraged MeshMixer, SketchUp, and VisCAM. Initially, I removed certain parts of the scan, specifically the surrounding area, to give it a solid form suitable for 3D printing. However, upon cutting out the middle circle and head, I encountered an issue with their thinness, prompting me to add an outer ring to reinforce its structure. The original scan was sourced from 123D apps, but unfortunately, Autodesk removed all files associated with this project. You can view the finished product at http://www.3dwp.nl
