My two-year-old son is able to effortlessly swing open every door in my home because they all feature smooth, easy-to-grasp lever handles. After considering installing locks for the levers, I realized each lock required manual activation, which seemed like an impractical solution. To address this issue, I removed the lever handle from the inside and created a custom replacement that prevents him from being able to pull it open to gain access. This modification seamlessly integrates with my existing Kwikset 912 Smartcode lever setup.
