Summary This device allows a door to be opened but not fully opened. The primary purpose of this feature could be to prevent a dog from accessing the laundry room where a cat litter box is located. The goal is to allow the cat to enter and exit freely while keeping the dog out. There are two available versions: Split and No Split. Due to limitations in printer size, the Split version was created in two parts. Most users can print the No Split STL without any issues. Design Considerations Printer Settings - Printer: Micro M3D - Rafts: None - Supports: None - Resolution: 0.25 mm - Infill: 100% - Notes: Gray ABS was used for printing, along with a heated bed on the M3D printer. Post-Printing Instructions If using the Split model, Acetone can be applied to join the parts together. Design Software Used The device was designed using OnShape software.
