Door latch cam drive unit for Schlage

In Schlage locks, the cam drive unit on the latch (the part the actuates the latch when the spindle turns) is prone to cracking over time. In some latches designed for multiple setback measurements, one cam drive unit appears to be made from brass and the other from a brittle pot metal that shears easily. This may be by design to disconnect the latch and spindle under stress but nonetheless it appears to be constructed with limited service life in a lock that purported to have a lifetime warranty. In the past, Schlage has been good enough to replace the locks that fail but it is time consuming and wasteful - the old unit basically is still 99.9% good, and for want of a 10-cents moving part, must be shipped back to the manufacturer for warranty claim and then, most likely, tossed into the bin as I'm pretty sure Schlage doesn't sell "refurbished" locks. In the interest of conservation, I created this 3d print model of the part in question. If you have disassembled your failed lock and found this piece cracked (see picture), then you can print and use this part in it's place. The service life of the printed part will vary depending on the material used (which is why I am only providing an STL, not GCODE. I used PETG and my estimation is that the part is likely to last for a year of heavy use on a front door. On a light application, like a closet door, it could last decades. But ideally it should be printed with a strong material that is not too brittle. ABS might be preferable to PEGT, or other "strong" filaments but I do not think PLA is going to cut it. At least not last long under heavy use. The model was created using the 2dfillet code found here on thingiverse - the one by TakeItAndRun (think # 422252). In case there is an issue, I've included that module file in the package for this object as well.
