Door latch

A versatile latch design. The idea came from a model found online, but I required a variation that was 1.5 inches wide to fit snugly on the shorter side of a standard 2x4 lumber piece. The latch consists of three distinct components: a base plate, the latch mechanism itself, and an optional spacer pad for added height if necessary.
