Recently, a friend of mine suffered a bicycle crash that broke both his wrists. On his first day back home alone, someone arrived at the door while he was struggling to open it - and discovered he couldn't actually turn the front door handle or any other closed doors in the apartment. I took photos of the four different types of knobs on his apartment's doors and printed up custom levers for him. These handles weren't designed to be sleek, but rather to be easily opened with a cast or a knee - so they're big, clunky, and feature easy-to-grasp ends that provide leverage. I've included STL files of the knob shapes I used as boolean tools for each handle style, in case that's helpful. The BaseHandle shapes don't fit any particular knobs, but you can model and cut your own door knob shape out of them if you'd like. Here are the rough diameters of the different knob styles: Ball (~47.6 mm), Rounded (~48 mm), Squarey (~48.5 mm), and Tapered (~47 mm). They're all pretty similar, which suggests there might be a standard size - or I'm just really bad at measuring. Each lever requires 4 M3x16(ish) socket cap bolts, 4 nuts, and 4 optional washers to install.
