Door Holder
thingiverse
This is a clever device that keeps the door partially open, depending on the length of its rod. To build it, you'll need two magnets just like those shown in the pictures and a 5mm rod measuring between 700-800mm long - this rod's length will determine how wide the door opens. One magnet should have a key ring attached to it; remove the key ring before proceeding. Next, bend both ends of the rod about 25-30mm at a 90-degree angle in the same direction, like this: I______I. To keep the magnet with the key ring securely on one end of the rod, use heat shrink tubing. Glue the other magnet, measuring 18mm by 3mm, right in the center of your printed disk using CA glue. To protect both sides of this disk and secure the magnet to it, apply some clear film and then attach it with more CA glue. I built all parts out of PETG plastic.
