The printer clips connect to two separate pieces of hinges, with the parts that feature screw holes attaching directly to the door and sliding onto the printer's clips after printing. A small metal rod or finishing nail should be melted or glued down the center of the hinge post for added structural integrity. Position the hinges on the front or side of the printer, adjusting them as needed to achieve your desired setup. Ensure that the door will clear any knobs or displays and can open fully without restriction. Mark four spots on the door where screws will need to be drilled in order to secure the hinges properly. Once the holes are marked, attach the hinges to the door and clip on the handle.
