door hinge shims
thingiverse
This is a door hinge shim for residential doors. These go between the metal hinge and wood frame or door to help center and level a door. There are 4 thicknesses (from 0.2 mm to 2.0 mm) included. This is version 4 or so of printing and getting the curvatures and screw placements just right. The edges are inset by 0.5 mm from the metal hinge dimensions because it's common for the wood sockets in doorframes to be a little undersized. This was modeled in Fusion 360, and the .f3d file is included for customizing this further. I've printed this successfully, including 16 at once on an Ender 3 V2. Since this is solid with no infill, any over-extrusion from the printer's settings will show up as either rake lines on top or a flange around the top edge. If this happens, consider calibrating your e-steps and flow setting and turning ironing off.
