Door Handles
myminifactory
I recently purchased an Anet A6 printer, which has sparked a new wave of DIY projects at home I can tackle with 3D printed materials. The challenge was clear: my hanging slide wooden door lacked handles, and I aimed to design a set myself. Using SketchUp Pro 2016 as my primary tool, I crafted the model with precision. Next, I ran it through an online program to detect any errors and make necessary adjustments. Although my printer hasn't arrived yet, I've attached some files for your reference: OBJ and STL formats are included. In the design process, I made a crucial decision: instead of creating just one handle, I opted for a set. This allowed me to incorporate my personal logo onto both handles, ensuring that it wouldn't appear upside down on the other side of the door or mirror image. To finalize the project, I used 123D Designer for a professional render and snapshot. Once printed, this handle set will be a perfect fit for my wooden door.
