Door handle / key grip for children
prusaprinters

We have a rather old front door which needs a lot of force on the key to open.

Unfortunately, my little daughter can't handle that (yet!), so I made a door handle to put on the key to be used for opening the door. Works very well :-)

I included the version with a punched hole matching exactly my key and another version without any hole, so you can simply cut it out in your slicer, as required.

Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: I3 MK3S

Rafts: No

Supports: From build plate

Resolution: .15

Infill: 20%

Filament: PLA

Notes: I used 3 instead of 2 walls for increased torque stability. I recommend standing print with supports, so the hole for the key will fit tightly to the key.
