Human-designed 3D-scanned handle for refrigerator features a distance of approximately 135mm between holes, measured center-to-center. To achieve optimal results, the entire hollow version was printed using an SLA printer. Additionally, a sliced version was created to accommodate printing with FFF printers. A small joining component is integrated to facilitate alignment of printed parts during assembly. The joining part boasts a 2% clearance allowance. The hollow version is specifically designed for printing with SLA or SLS technologies. Design Process: Initially, the Super Glue used to secure the handle proved inadequate, prompting the need to assemble remaining parts as thoroughly as possible and subsequently scan them using 3D technology. Subsequently, cracks and other imperfections were edited away utilizing Meshmixer before reprinting the assembly. The result is a functional handle that has undergone rigorous testing and refinement.
