Door handle filling

The door handle suddenly came loose from the door. The handle had been attached to the door using short screws, and the door itself was made of chipboard! What's more, there was a noticeable gap of about 7-8 mm between the door and the screw heads, making it a wonder that it held together for several years. I decided to install bolts that passed through the side, taking advantage of the lock body's two holes where the "side" bolts could fit. The two "top" bolts would then pass over the lock body. The design is perfectly symmetrical, with the bolt head on one side matching a nut on the other side. A picture will help clarify how it's mounted. M4 bolts, 50mm long, were used for this project, given that the door is only 35mm thick.
